This Privacy Policy describes how PixelFlowy Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you use our Shopify application, PixelFlowy - Shopify App (the "App").

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

  • Store Data: Shop domain, email, country, and subscription plan.
  • Customer Data: When you use our tracking features, we process customer event data (e.g., page views, purchases) on your behalf to send to Facebook/Meta.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the App services and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this information to:

  • Configure and manage your Facebook Pixel and Conversions API integrations.
  • Provide analytics and reporting on your store's performance.
  • Communicate with you regarding App updates and support.
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. Sharing Your Information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example:

  • Shopify: We use Shopify to power your store and our App integration.
  • Meta (Facebook): We transmit event data to Meta on your behalf for ad tracking and measurement.

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

4. GDPR and Your Rights

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access the Personal Information we hold about you, to port it to a new service, and to ask that your Personal Information be corrected, updated, or erased.

We process your customers' data as a data processor. You, as the merchant, are the data controller. We assist you in fulfilling your GDPR obligations by providing mechanisms to delete customer data upon request (via Shopify's mandatory webhooks).

5. Data Retention

We retain your Personal Information and your customers' event data only for as long as necessary to provide the App services or as required by law.

  • Event Logs: Retained for 90 days.
  • Account Data: Retained while the App is installed. Deleted within 30 days of uninstallation.

6. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
